Brief 1 - Frame (Photoshop): Final Crit Feedback

For the final crit we only had an hour and a half so the group was split in two and then switched so that a person in group A gave feedback to group B. We had to ask 3 questions that we wanted to know about our work. The three questions I asked were:
  • Who is the target audience?
  • What shop/brand would this be most suited for?
  •  Do these look hand made?
The reason I asked these questions was to get a grasp of whether the message and concept I was trying to communicate came across.

I am so happy with the feedback I was given as most people wrote that I had managed to use the right method and get a great affect.

One person wrote that it is contradictory having a hand made design printed. I agree completely but practically if it were to be used in reality then it would not be able to have each one individually painted as this would take too long and not be worth the expenses.

It has been very useful and interesting to see the crit feedback for both this crit and the interim crit. The feed back from the interim crit gave me great suggestions on where to go with it and although it was quite critical it allowed me to make my mind up on decisions I wasn't sure on. This crit has been very confirming that I went down the right track and made the right design decisions.
