This mechanical inspired type as shown above is really interesting especially when looking at Jonny's answers to the questions it is clear he loves cars and the technical side not just to cars but to design as a whole. A few examples of the type have been put below so that you can see them in greater detail. This is such a clever idea, however practically it wouldn't work as apart from the time aspect it would not read well as a body copy text and perhaps would not express his whole personality.
The use of pastel colours for the background is simple and keeps the attention on the complicated letter. The colour white/ beige and grey to define the letter works a lot better than black would as it is softer and makes the letter easier to look at rather than over powering. The drop shadow really makes it stand out and is a final touch which really pulls the piece together and links the pastel background with the letter.
